I am delighted to announce that BIS Salamis (M&I) was recently awarded an OHSAS 18001 certificate by Lloyds Quality Assurance Ltd (LRQA).

This accreditation certifies our ability to maintain and implement a robust Occupational Health and Safety Management System, at par with international industry standards. 

In order to qualify, we were required to prove to the LRQA that our occupational health and safety processes documented within our Total Management System addressed all relevant aspects of OHSAS 18001:2007 requirements.

As part of the process, we had to provide documented evidence that these procedures are then robustly implemented within our day-to-day business.

By gaining this accreditation, which is subject to 6 month surveillance by LRQA, we have demonstrated our dedication to minimising risk and safeguarding the well-being of BIS Salamis personnel, our clients and the environment. 

We look forward to building on this success in the near future and we will continue to implement the processes and procedures specified under the OHSAS 18001:2007.
